Percy grew up and attended schools in Monroe, Iowa.
He was married to Edna M. Adams in 1945 at Newton, Iowa. In 1952, they
came to the Splithand area of Grand Rapids, Minnesota from Grinell, Iowa, and operated the Big Splithand Stopping Spot Resort for several years. He then worked many years at Leisure Hills Care Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the American Legion in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Percy is survived by his wife, Edna; one daughter, Janet Bishop; two sons, Ronald and Steven; one brother, Leslie; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 3.36.1.5)
