Pete Marinoff married Mary Nekich in Minnesota. He was a member of the Pengilly VFW Post, a life member of Disabled American Veterans, a former member of ISD 316 school board, and had served as the Pengilly postmaster from 1968 – 1971.
Pete died in Pengilly, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Serbian Section - Block 46). He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; one daughter, Bonney Marinoff; three sons, Peter S. Marinoff, Kris J. Marinoff, and James C. Marinoff; two sisters, Carrie Saarela and Mary Casey; and four grandchildren.
