Quin traveled the Midwest as a salesman for Majestic Range Company. He was co-owner of the Ford dealership in Valley City, North Dakota, and later farmed during retirement.

Quin married Florence Noltimier on December 20, 1930 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; a daughter, Mrs. Gaylord (Kathleen) Simons; and three granddaughters.

Quin died at his home and was cremated. His remains are at the Park Hill Crematory in Duluth, Minnesota.

**There is a discrepancy in birthdates. Obituary indicates that Quin was born on March 25, 1898, but records from the Department of Veterans Affairs show the birthdate as November 28, 1898.
