    Ralph attended schools in the Foley, Minnesota area and moved to the Swatara, Minnesota area when a young man. On September 27, 1947, he married Ila Anderson after which they moved to the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area. He worked as a carpenter for Pickands Mather and Company for 20 years and retired in 1970.

    He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Vets and the American Legion of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by wife, Ila; six sisters, Mrs. Dale (Grace) Bures, Isabel Washburn, Mrs. Orvel (Clara) Anderson, Josephine Steffes, Mrs. Earl (Irene) LaFrenierre, and Delores Budsey; four brothers, Edward, Joseph, George and Bernard.

    Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 4.20.4.4)
