    Ralph Kosel was an employee of the Cleveland Cliffs Mining Co., was president of the United Steel Workers of America local 2073, member of the Poppe-Smuk-Appleget Post, the American Legion of Marble and Calumet, the Itasca County Welfare Board, and the Marble Fire Department.

    Ralph died in Marble, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Block 64). He is survived by his wife Frances; seven sisters, Mrs. Annie Vogel, Mrs. Harold Phipps, Bernie Kosel, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Blanchard, Mrs. Chester (Celestine) Blanchard, Mrs. Lawrence (Teresa) Blanchard, and Mrs. Stanley Sindelir.
