Raymond married Evelyn Showalter on September 23, 1956, in California where they lived for a few years before returning to Minnesota. They moved to Bigfork, Minnesota in the spring of 2001.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Charles and Sam; a daughter, Tona Nelson; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul; and two sisters, Helen Lawson and Laurene Cook.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Helen Grace; brothers, Ralph, John, Howard, Robert, Lawrence; and his parents.
Raymond died at his home in Bigfork, Minnesota. Burial information is not available at this time.
