Ray was a devoted son and loving uncle.
He was a star athlete in basketball, baseball and football. Ray remained an avid sports fan throughout his life. He was also well known as an intimidating card player.
Ray is preceded in death by his father, Raymond DePetro, Sr., and a sister, Louise DePetro Walter.
He is survived by his mother, Amelia; nieces Deborah Walker and Nancy Walter; and nephews Bob Walker and Rick Walker.
Ray died at his home in Duluth, Minnesota and is buried in the Nashwauk Cemetery at Nashwauk, Minnesota. No photo of grave marker is available at this time.
