    Ren Dahl served in the Navy Hospital Corps from 1943-1946. He was in the Pacific Theater and was stationed on Tinian Island. He worked at the West Hill Mine, retiring in 1987.

    Ren Dahl died in Coleraine, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Block 29, Lot 18). He is survived by two sisters, Evalyn Thompson and Dorie Lentini; two brothers, Kermit Dahl and Jim Dahl; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Grace Swenson, Alice Dahl and Carmen Betz; and a brother George Dahl.
