Richard Leeseberg married Katherine Rahier in 1969 in Minnesota. He worked for Balkan Mining Co. (Danube Mine), Erie Mining Co., and Hibbing Taconite as a shovel operator. He was a former member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Bovey and presently a member of Grace English Lutheran Church, Marble.
Richard died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Block 118). He is survived by his wife, Kathy; three sons, Gary Rahier, Mark Rahier, and Keith Leeseberg; a daughter, Susan Leeseberg; a brother Roger Leeseberg; his mother, Ollie Leeseberg; and four grandchildren.
