Tom grew up and attended school in Cohasset and Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He lived for a time in Marshall, Minnesota and drove gravel truck.
Tom was united in married to Joyce Marovich on October 7, 1971 in Watertown, South Dakota.
In 1981, the couple returned to the Iron Range and made their home in Nashwauk and Keewatin, Minnesota.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Bobby and Christopher; and four brothers; Harry, Bud, Gene, and Jack.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two daughters, Cheryl "Lynn" (Roland) Lundin and Jacqueline Gould; two sons, Dean (Gayle) and Rick (Tina); seventeen grandchildren; three sisters, Violet (Loren) Hauser, Marilyn (LeRoy) Doree, and Dorothy (Hookie) Mickels; two brothers, Jerry (Barb) and Robert "Butch" (JoAnn); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom died at Fairvew University Medical Center-Mesabi in Hibbing, Minnesota and is buried in Nashwauk Cemetery at Nashwauk, Minnesota.
