Robert married Arlene Chase on October 16, 1958. They lived in Chicago where Bob was an electrician.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, his parents, two sisters, Alice and Marie, and a brother, Les.
Bob is survived by his daughter Lynn (Nick) Romano; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Bob died at Grand Village Lodge in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
