    Bob joined the United States Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged in August, 1972.

    Robert grew up in Warba, Minnesota.

    In December, 1969, Robert was married to Patricia Havens in Warba, Minnesota. They were married 40 wonderful years before his death.

    Robert worked in the mines until their closing and then went on to vocational school for welding. He worked at Electric Power Door in Hibbing, Minnesota.

    Robert was a very devoted and loving husband, father, brother and son. Everyone who knew him loved him dearly.

    He is preceded in death by his father, R. L. Woody in 1966, his mother Viola in 2008, and his brother, Don in 1984.

    Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia; five daughters, Angela (Chuck) Hawkinson, Darcy (David) Hall, Roberta (Masum) Woody-Billah, Robin (Doran) Newton, and Sarah (Jim) Goltz; one son, Eddy (Ashley); thirty-two grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Vicki Woody, Sandra (Bill) Dunn, and Lois (Tom) Buzay; one brother, Les; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Robert passed away at Grand Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in the Warba-Feeley Cemetery at Warba, Minnesota.
