Robert was raised and attended schools in the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area.
After his retirement, he lived for a short time in Florida and the last several years has been living in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He was a life member of the Ponti-Peterson Post of the VFW and the Military Order of Cooties. He was also a member of the McVeigh-Dunn American Legion Post.
Robert is survived by his son, Frank and his mother, Mrs. Harry (Ella) Trudeau, several aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
