    Robert was a resident of this district since 1906. He came to Grand Rapids, Minnesota at the age of six and attended elementary and high schools.

    Robert was married to Charlotte Luella Madson at Bemidji, Minnesota in 1922.

    He was a member of the VFW and was a past commander of the Ponti-Peterson Post. He was also a member of the American Legion.

    Robert was employed by the State Highway Department and the village.

    Survivors are his wife, Charlotte; a son, Robert; a daughter, Mrs. Einar Sundin; and six grandchildren.

    Robert died at the Minneapolis Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-A-44-1-7)
