    Roger married Betty I. Heino in Duluth, Minnesota on August 14, 1948.

    Roger lived in Duluth, Minnesota until 1954 when he moved to Grand Rapids where he operated a gasoline service station. Later he operated the Itasca Mileage Station and Roddy's Coffee Shop in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    In 1973, he purchased the McAlpine Block and Mickey's Café, which was changed to the Landmark Cafe which he operated until his death.

    He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the American Association of Retired Persons and the Itasca Masonic Lodge #208 AF & AM Shrine Aad Temple of Duluth. He was a past chairman of the Grand Rapids Planning Commission, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and served on the board of directors of the Minnesota Restaurant Association. He was a past member of the Grand Rapids Lions Club, Grand Rapids, Minnesota and the Duluth Ski Association, Duluth, Minnesota.

    He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Valerie Borg and Elizabeth Borg; two sons, Brian and Jeffery; his mother Carrie Borg; and one brother, Ernest Borg.

    Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 1.2.2.x)
