Roger was a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He attended schools in the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area.
Roger was an employee of the Blandin Paper Company in Grand Rapids, Minnesota for the past sixteen years. He was also a school bus driver for District #318 and a truck driver for Simons Trucking Company of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He ws a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Chapter 1378, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Survivors are his wife, Vivian R. Clayton, whom he married at Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1948; three daughters, Mrs. Bryan (Suzanne) Gooch, Mrs. T.J. (Jeanne) Riley, and Mrs. Joseph (Kathleen) Wourms; three sons, Steven, Ricki, and Brian; a sister, Mrs. Calvin (Joy) Leaf; three brothers, Rodney, Robert, and Leroy; and five grandchildren.
Roger died at Itasca Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 1.4.2.2)
