Ronald worked for United States Steel for 23 years.

He enjoyed being in the north woods and the outdoors--hunting, fishing and trapping. He was a member of the NRA.

Ron loved spending time with his family, especially watching his son play baseball and his daughter sing. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and seeking treasures.

Ron was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by one daughter, Kayla A. DeBord; one son, John V. DeBord; mother, Mary Ann DeBord; two sisters, Karen M. DeBord and Debra A. Reid; nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts.

Ron died at his home in Bovey, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota.
