    Mr. Hafar, a victim of drowning, died in Lake Superior near Duluth, Minnesota.

    His driver's license listed his address as Grand Rapids, Minnesota, but he apparently had not lived here for about two years.

    He is survived by three brothers, Donald, Leslie, and Vern; three sisters, Mrs. Milton Horton, Mrs. George Baldwin, and Mrs. Arnold Erickson.
