Roy moved with his family to Little Swan near Toivola, Minnesota.
Roy worked in the mines near Biwabik, Minnesota until 1963.
Roy worked at Blandin Paper Company for 30 years retiring in 1993.
He married Carole Greenwood on June 14, 1965. Roy was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Itasca Curling Club, and the Fraternal of Eagles Aerie No. 2469, all of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Carole; daughters, Cathleen Verry and Susan Freeman; a sister, Agnes Egan; and two grandchildren.
Roy died at his home and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-D-20-1-5)
