Sandy married Ruby M. Schoenborn on June 4, 1949 at Duluth, Minnesota and they moved to Grand Rapids Minnesota in 1957.
He worked for thirty-six years for Minnesota Power in Cohasset, Minnesota and retired on December 31, 1981.
He had served as commander of Floyd Sutherland Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6320 in Duluth, Minnesota.
Survivors are his wife, Ruby; a daughter, Sandra "Sandy" (Tom) Rohling; sisters Lillian (Phillip) Scalise and Madelyne Abbott; brothers, Peter and John; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandy died at his home and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-E-31-0-4)
