Sime worked for seventeen years in the Deer River Post Office in Deer River, Minnesota.
He was employed by Convair while the Atlas Missile was being built in San Diego, California before taking retirement.
Chic was a past master and a 57-year member of Chippewa Lodge 275 A.F.&A.M. He was a private airplane pilot and had made 36 trips between California and Minnesota, making his last flight at age 80.
Chic is survived by his wife, Vienna; a son, Lowell; a grandson; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Ruth Dahlberg and Margaret Martinsen; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha "Sally", two sisters, and four brothers.
Chic died at his home in Solana Beach, California.
