Stanley lived in Grand Rapids, Minnesota all of his life.

He attended local schools and had been very active in school athletics. He had been employed a number of years by the Great Northern Railroad in their clerical department prior to his retirement.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Genevieve; one sister, Marie; and one brother, William.

Stanley died after a lingering illness and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-B-38-1-3)
