    Stanley attended schools in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and worked 25 years for the Blandin Paper Company.

    After World War II, he and his family moved to Vallejo, California where he was employed as an electrician at the Mare Island shipyards until his retirement in 1970.

    Stanley was a member of the American Legion and Oddfellows Lodge, both in Grand Rapids.

    Stanley and Helen celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in April, 1974.

    He is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, June (George) Hutchinson; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Vobejda and Mrs. Pearl VanGunten. He was a brother of the late Joseph Waleski and an uncle of Mrs. William Baker, Joseph Waleski, Jr., and Everett Waleski.

    Stanley died in Napa, California and funeral services were conducted at the Napa Valley Memorial Gardens in California.
