Stanley attended schools at Underwood and had been a Pengilly, Minnesota resident for over 40 years.

He married Myrtle Mostue on June 25, 1949, at Marble, Minnesota.

He had worked at Rude Media for over 30 years.

Stanley was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1061 of Bovey, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by his parents; a son, Allen; three sisters, Chlorence Cline, Joyce Stensrude, and Marilyn Anderson; and a brother, Alviro.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Myrtle; two daughters, Bonnie Syverson; and Connie Herschbach; four sons, DuWayne, Roger, Rickey, and Dale; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Stanley died at Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota. (Block 141)
