    Steve was a lifelong resident of Keewatin, Minnesota. He was employed at the Round House in Kelly Lake with Northern Pacific Railroad and the City of Keewatin as a custodian.

    Steve was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Keewatin, Minnesota.

    He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, repairing bicycles for his nephews, and painting.

    Steve was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary Ann Groshel and Rose Zagar, and niece Joan G.

    He is survived by his four nephews, Frank, David, Gary, and Dennis.

    Steve died at Leisure Hills Health Care Center in Hibbing, Minnesota and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. (Block 5, Lot 309, GR 6 E 1/2) No photo of grave marker is available at this time.
