Theodore served in the United States Army in Europe during World War II.

Theodore worked for United States Steel in Duluth, Minnesota, Paul Lawrence Company in International Falls, Minnesota and Blandin Paper Company in Grand Rapids, Minnesota where he raised his family.
In January, 1964, he moved to Sitka, Alaska, where he worked as engineering supervisor at Alaska Lumber and Pulp Company. He retired in 1982.
Theodore was a former city council member in Sitka.
Theodore is survived by his wife, Keiko; a sister, Lucille Method; four daughters, Jill Scheidt, Cathy Revard, Chris Coleman, and Carol Frederick; two sons, Jim and Paul, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Theodore died at Humana Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska and is buried in Sitka National Cemetery at Sitka, Alaska. (Plot 4, 36)
