Larry was a United States Air Force Veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific and Australia.

Larry worked as a forester for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for 35 years, retiring in 1981.
His hobbies included fishing, camping, and reading.
Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Kathy; and a brother, William.
Larry is survived by his wife, Char; one daughter, Jan (Mark) Paschke; two sons, Pat (Barb) and Tim (Ann); and several nieces and nephews.
Larry died at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-C-04-29)
