He was a member of the Carmel Lutheran Church in Ball Bluff, Minnesota; Itasca Lodge #208, Grand Rapids Eagles Club; and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Uno died on May 20, 1985 at Aitkin, Minnesota.
Survivors are his wife, Ethel; one daughter, Tina Madden; three sons, Lester Hogan, Thomas Hogan, and Tim Point; two sisters, Elma Laine and Violet Neils; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
