Bill has lived in Grand Rapids, Minnesota since 1955. He worked in the mines for approximately three years, at Davis Oil for approximately four years, and at Blandin Paper Company until his death.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and the Ponti-Peterson VFW post in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Survivors include his wife, Arliss; two sons, Jeff and Tim; one daughter, Carolyn; one granddaughter; his mother, Mrs. Ella Heikkinen; and one sister, Lina, Finland.
Bill died at Itasca Memorial Hospital In Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-G-06-2-7)
