    Coming to Grand Rapids, Minnesota as an infant, Mr. Aiken grew up and attended schools in this city. After graduating from high school, he was employed with the Sheldon Banking Corporation of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He operated an insurance agency in Grand Rapids after his discharge. In 1931, he formed a partnership with S. E. (Sim) Heller (The Kenler Corporation). They operated theaters in Nashwauk, Calumet, Coleraine, Bovey, and two in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Mr. Aiken was active in the business until his retirement in 1973.

    Survivors are his wife, Cecile, a daughter, Mitzi Reinfeld, three grandchildren, and one nephew, Charles McMahon.

    Mr. Aiken was a life member of the Itasca County Old Settlers Association, a 50 year member of the McVeigh-Dunn American Legion Post, a former member of the Lions Club and was in the Grand Rapids Senior Citizen Club. He formerly served on the Itasca County Hospital Board and had been active in the Minneapolis Variety Club.
