Wallace was a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Wallace was united in marriage to Eleanor Joseph on October 19,1942 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He worked for 39 years as a foreman at M. A. Hanna Mining Company, retiring in 1979.
Wallace was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Eagles Club and Ponti-Peterson Veterans of Foreign Wars, all in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; a daughter, Nancy (Albert) Hermiston; a son, Curt (Diane) Major; a brother, Donald (Joyce) Major; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Jerome and Lawrence; and a sister, Orpha.
Wallace died at Leisure Hills Care Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 2.40.3.4)
