Wilho died in Duluth, Minnesota and is buried in Trout Lake Community Cemetery, Bovey, Minnesota (Block 1, Lot 3). He is survived by two brothers, John A. and Franz; and five sisters, Margaret (Howard) Johnson, Lila Ahlgren, Teckla Koski, Alice (William) Niemi, and Viola (John) Nylund.
