Bill Lox was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 36 years, most recently as a rural mail carrier in Deer River, He retired in 1996. Bill was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset, a member and past president of the Grand Rapids Eagles club, and a past president of Grand Rapids Area Hockey Association. He coached youth hockey for many years and was active with the Boy Scouts. He loved hunting with family and friends.
Bill died at his home in rural Grand Rapids and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife Sharonne; children, Paul Lox, Tim (Patti) Lox, Michele Lox, and Scott (Jodie) Lox; three grandchildren; his mother, June Lox; and a sister, Carol (Ronnie) Warren. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin, in 1995, and his brother, Daniel, in March 2006.
