    William worked as a senior chemical engineer for Western Electric Company Indianapolis for 33 years before retiring in 1976.

    For the past 35 years he lived in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Indianapolis and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and Old Oakland Golf Club.

    Survivors are his wife, M. Juanita; a stepdaughter, Billie M. Campbell; and a sister, Genevieve Hansen.

    William died at Ireland Army Hospital in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-B-41-2-4)
