    Eddie married Ada Snyder in 1940.

    He worked as a logger with his father and also for Blandin Paper Company from 1955 until his retirement in 1976.

    He was a member of the Grand Rapids Alliance Church, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    He is survived by his wife, Ada; three daughters, Kay Bouchie, Kathleen Krogh, and Joan Lease; a son, Glenn, three sisters, Lillian Surface, Doris Erickson and Alice Bishop; five brothers, Charlie, Lawrence, Lloyd, Robert, Roland and Roy; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

    Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Diane Whirley; a brother, Henry, and a granddaughter, Sheryl Schepper.

    Eddie died at Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 1.4.2.?)
