William was a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, Minnesota and attended Grand Rapids schools. William was a former Grand Rapids city councilman, was a retired fireman, and in 1980 retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Floyd. William is survived by his wife, Carmen; one daughter, Marilyn Heibrunn; one son, William E. Jr.; two brothers, Raymond and Roger; and two sisters, Vivian Beaudet and Dorothy Brace.
Buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota. (Block 29)
