    Jeff was employed with Blandin Paper Company in Grand Rapids, Minnesota for thirty-four years.

    On July 3, 2004, he was united in marriage to Linda GIlbert.

    Jeff enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, and vacations to Mazatlán. He was known to frequent garage sales and auctions making him a great accumulator of antiques and treasures.

    He is preceded in death by his parents.

    Jeff is survived by his wife, Linda; one daughter, Jennifer (Spencer) O'Quinn; one son, Jessie (Melissa) Ekholm; two step-sons, Dan (Mindy) Gilbert and Tom Gilbert; one sister Carolyn Orlich; one brother, Timothy; seven grandchildren; and one niece, Kacie Orlich.

    Jeff passed away on his birthday on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Grand Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota after a long battle with cancer and is buried in Wildwood Cemetery at Cohasset, Minnesota.
