    "Buster" moved to the West Cohasset, Minnesota area in 1932. He married Leora Viva Scherf on October 28, 1942. He was employed by Grand Rapids Public Utilities and retired in 1973. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1720, Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He attended West Cohasset Chapel in Cohasset, Minnesota.

    He was preceded in death by brothers Delbert, Arnold, and Everett; and a sister, Viola Bogle. Survivors are his wife, Leora; sons Edward and Gilbert; daughters Tamara Benton and Candice Miller; brothers Wallace and Ernest; sisters Beatrice Serie and Tillie Plumley; and seven grandchildren.
